IN-PERSON & TELEHEALTH About Jennifer: Jennifer Richey, LICSW, is a trauma-focused therapist with nearly 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, life transitions, and complex trauma. She has extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurological or genetic conditions. Jennifer’s primary specialty is trauma-focused treatment, using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and healing. Her approach is grounded in compassion and self-worth, helping clients build clarity, resilience, and confidence. She is passionate about supporting clients navigating generational family conflict, child abuse and neglect, custody-related stress, relationship challenges, identity-related concerns including LGBTQ+ issues, and other complex life challenges. Jennifer’s goal in therapy is to help individuals rediscover self-worth, regain a sense of control when life feels overwhelming, and build the skills to move forward with confidence and purpose.
